Pet Careers

This mod is inspired by Sims 2 Pet Careers. It allows your pets to get pet rabbithole jobs. Dogs have the ability to be promoted based on learning commands. Cats will remain at the base level but will be paid the same as dogs at their top levels.

How it Works

When you click on your pet, there will be a new option for them to join a Pet Career. There are three different industries to choose from: Security, Service, or Show Business. 

From Monday-Thursday, at 7am, pets will be pushed to their careers. They will remain at their job for 8 hours. 

If they are not pushed to the career, your Sim can send them to their job anytime during the 8 hours. While at work, their needs will be met.

Cats cannot be promoted and thus are paid base salary levels of the highest career level for that industry since they cannot learn commands. Dogs start off on level 1 and can be promoted up to three times to the top level - level 4. Each level requires the learning of a new command to be promoted. Promotions result in a rise of pay. Pets must wait 48 hours after a recent promotion to be eligible for their next promotion.

Pets can change careers only if they are not Elders. They can also quit their careers at any time. Elder Pets who already have pet careers cannot change industries, but are eligible to retire.

Requirements:

Pack requirements: Base Game and Cats and Dogs. Make sure to grab the General Pie menus and Shared Library script. It is REQUIRED for the mod to work.
