Custom Promotion Requirements:
In addition to skills, Ghost Hunters will be evaluated on two other criteria: how many seances they perform and how many investigations they complete.
Seances can be performed on the Seance table or rug. Seances help to gain Medium skill.
How Investigations Work:
If your sim sees things out in the world on Spooky or Haunted House lots and they investigate (remove cursed objects, appease spectors with gifts, or perform the ceremony), it will count as a successful investigation.
Alternatively, your sim can access on the computer under the Career menu "Perform Paranormal Investigations" once they reach the third level of the career. Investigations can only be performed once every 12 hours. They can either be beginner level, intermediate level, or expert level.
Beginner investigations are easier but all investigations require skills. The more skills, the more likely to be successful at investigations. Investigations can vary in what your sim needs to accomplish. If your sim doesn't have enough experience or skill, they can fail to be successful. They can also run away scared from the investigation if they're unprepared. At the upper levels, if your sim only does beginner level investigations, it takes twice as many to complete the requirements to be successful.

You've just taken a step in the right direction.

Whether they're beginning to fear your spirit busting abilities (or perhaps luring you into a trap) is unknown, you must continue your work regardless. The people of town need you!
